On Thursday 14 October, 2021, SabaFon celebrated its twentieth anniversary; the company held a celebration that included all its employees. The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran and then the speech of the Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Abdul Khaliq Al Ghaili, in which he emphasized the importance of the role that SabaFon has played since its establishment in creating a wide quality transaction through Information and communication technology. He also valued the tremendous efforts exerted by the company’s employees, stressing that twenty years of achievement would not have been without them.
The CEO also explained that a plan has been developed that will lead all to a stage in which the company has already exceeded all its obligations towards others, preserved its vital position in the field of communications, and raised the status of its family in various departments and placed itself in the place where it should be.
In conjunction with the company’s celebrations of the twentieth anniversary, employees who spent twenty years of service in the company were honored with certificates of appreciation for their loyalty and fruitful efforts that accompanied the bid process since its first inception, and special offers were announced to subscribers on this occasion.
It is worth noting that the anniversary celebrations have been taking place as an annual habit since the company was established on February 14, 2001 as the first mobile operator in Yemen, and as the company’s management believes in the employees’ role in making achievements and their importance in supporting its continuous march towards more success and development.
