Al-Razi University has launched the activities of the International Conference of Modern Trends in the Information and Communication Technology Industry with the participation of Sabafon. The 3-day conference will discuss 22 research presented by specialists in the field of communications and information technology, with the participation of local and international researchers. The opening of the conference was attended by the Presidential Adviser, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Turb, the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, a number of members of the Shura Council, the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Tariq Al-Nahmi, deputy ministers, heads of public and private universities, businessmen and participants from various local and International universities, and the University’s Secretary, Dr. Ammar Al-Thibani.
In addition, the conference sessions began with the presentation of a number of research and scientific working papers, including “a potential new approach to improving contrast in irregular lighting images by Dr. Noor Al-Aydi from Malaysia, The Future of Silicon Valley in Yemen by Dr. Ali Amin Malaysia, and Fifth Generation Communications by Dr. Ali Naji Nassari from TeleYemen.” And e-learning and the role of telecommunications as a service provider in Yemen by Eng. Abdul Rahman Abu Talib.” For his part, Eng. Nizar Al-Moayad gave a lecture entitled “A Roadmap for Digital Transformation,” in which he presented the principles, elements, advantages and challenges of digital transformation.
