Tuesday, 15th August 2017, a ceremony was held for the launching of social partnership between SabaFon and the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at the University of Sana’a, which aims to support the activities of the quality unit at the college.
Dr. Nasser Al-Taweel gave a speech on the importance of the community partnership which was signed with SabaFon. He also presented the objectives that were implemented by the quality unit at the college, including furnishing the office of the quality unit. The college distributed posters and pamphlets to the students and academic staff.
Form her part, Dr. Najat Mohammed Joman, Commerce and Economics Dean praised the role played by Sabafon through its support for activities of quality unit at the college. She expressed her deep thanks and appreciation because Sabafon was the only private sector that responded to the calls made by the Faculty Dean. Stressed on the importance of the community partnership with Sabafon and its contribution to raising the level of educational process and updating curriculums in a manner commensurate with the requirements of work force market.
In his speech, Minister of Higher Education, Mr. Mohammed Daifallah minister consultant, stressed that the social partnership between SABAFON and Faculty of Commerce & Economics at Sana’a University, which aims to support quality unit’s activities, is an example of the private sector being a key partner in the sustainable development industry.
Mr. Abdulrahman Al Haj, Sabafon’s Human Resources Director expressed the company’s pride in this announced partnership.
It is worth mentioning that the launching of social partnership between Sabaafon and Faculty of Commerce & Economics at Sana’a University, which aims to support the activities of the quality unit in the college is a continuation of Sabafon’s campaign #Yemen_Tajmana_Sabafon, this community campaign was launched earlier this year.
